The New Dish

here's basically what we're looking at with the new dish, based on my photomatches.

I'm not sure how it connects yet to the base, though.

engine deck parts. Most of these bits are consistent with the 5' studio scale model from the first three films, but there are a lot of proportional differences.

Slow night at the Cantina

plus, thanks the those new continuity photos that have been going around, got to model that thing in the corner up by the ceiling. Looks like it's going an upside down R2 dome at the end, and then some other cylindrical part.

Episode 7 Millennium Falcon

Built this model by using Sketchup's perspective match tool on images of new Millennium Falcon as seen in the trailers and promotional material.

Yeah, I'm getting on board with this new dish...

and here's my photomatch work. This quad-laser prop is bananas, in my professional opinion, but it's starting to grow on me...
