Testing out Twinmotion on the ESB interior model I've been working on. Still figuring it out, lots of funky camera moves, and lighting issues, but as a quick experiment I'm pretty happy with this! I've been doing interior renders like this since at least 2012, and this process is about a thousand times quicker and more satisfying than those early version, heh. Still so much to learn, but slow and steady wins the race... right?
Awesome work! Given that there are parts of the Falcon's interior that have never been shown on screen, it would be interesting if you gave us the full tour. There's plenty of potential source material out there you could draw on. Love the work you do here! Keep it coming.
ReplyDeletethanks! I mainly keep to what's seen onscreen-- frankly there's so many details to build right I don't have time for other rooms, what I rendered here is not even complete.
ReplyDelete. . . not to mention the likely impossibility of creating a deck plan that would satisfy every nitpicker.
DeleteThat said, great work.
Man, this is so cool! I've been working on a full cutaway of the Falcon, seen on the Replica Prop Forum, which is going to show the whole interior (with compromises, of course), and I'm considering connecting the forward hold to the main hold using that small room seen to the fore of the port ring corridor entrance. I was wondering what your thoughts are on that since you seem to be as obsessed as I am with this ship.
